     It is important for you to prepare the dissertation literature first; at least write parts of the dissertation literature review first. It's very hard to get a sense of the tone your dissertation writing must have before you know what's in the literature and how it relates to your dissertation. To this end, before you begin writing the literature review section of your dissertation make sure you find and copy papers and chapters you might cite and summarize in your dissertation. It may help to divide the dissertation literature review section of your dissertation into sections, especially to help with the dissertation writing. If the body of work you are reviewing for your dissertation is large, sections might help with organization of the dissertation writing. 

     Even though it may be hard, try your hardest to work on your dissertation writing everyday, even if it's only 15 minutes. If this dissertation writing strategy does not work for you, designate time every other day to your dissertation writing. Spend an hour or more each day reading the dissertation articles and materials you plan to incorporate into your dissertation or your dissertation writing. The more you get used to having a designated time to work on your dissertation the more it will help you with writing and completing the dissertation. Investing time in your dissertation is the best kind of dissertation help you can find.

     No matter how many years you've spent in graduate school, writing a literature review for your dissertation can pose quite a challenge.
